Champ Lake Monster: |
Darwin was wrong. Perception inside the box looking out, versus outside the box looking in. There is a lack of evidence for evolution on the basis that has been limited fossil evidence of "in between" or intermediate steps of genetic difference. There is no explanation as to how complicated respiratory functions developed. From a protein molecule to the first single celled, reproducing organism requires an infinite amount of chemical steps. A working cell wall must exist for anything to happen in the first place. This is where art becomes a vehicle of exploration to all sciences. Art is a tool of perception. A painter paints what he or she sees. When the world changes, and the land changes, the artist will pain a different picture. Perception changes. When a species perception changes, one will note that they are physically distinct from their ancestor. The threshold of awareness is breached, creating a new day one where the genetic cycle wakes up. Breeding does this on a conscious level. This is not survival of the fittest, this is genetic timing with environmental isolation. Humans have not yet left the earth. This means we are all bound to genetic timing that runs in cycle with the earth. The next great earth change will alter our bodies and our minds. There is no control of this natural mechanism until human consciousness wakes up and leaves the earth. Humans are not the only life form on earth, and any other specie would easily fill in the creative and social gaps that humans would leave behind if we were all annihilated overnight. Dolphins, whales and some primates would be next in line for the most intelligent and creative creatures on the planet. However, there might be unknown species of creatures lurking in the shadows waiting for their consciousness to wake up just as eagerly as intelligent humans are. Mother nature works in mysterious ways. If plesiosaurs have cryogenic sleep rhythms, and decided to camp out around the north pole until the pole has thawed, its melting could be disastrous. More fish migrating up north, and no ice-land habitat for polar bears and seals would mean a population boom for a marine hunter that feeds on the same fish. Sharks, not liking cold water temperatures would tend to back off from the arctic, even if the ice cap has completely melted. Whales might be the only hunter that would be able to feed on them. Whale numbers, being smaller than they once were will not be able to control plesiosaur numbers. These factors indicate the possibility of a population boom for plesiosaurs. These creatures generally prefer freshwater, so their migration to freshwater basins will begin once the salinity of deep, freshwater, arctic cannals change. They may pop up everywhere up north and be a real nuisance like beavers, except some of these waking beasts might be ginormous and super intelligent. Some could be very social and accepting of humans like dolphins are, or they could be very dangerous, indeed.
