Animating Kinematic Chains for Realistic Muscle FlexionCreature Convention is well into its 8th year of design of Action Figures for medical CG Models. Fully articulated and anatomically correct, the model now only consists of a mechanically correct arm. The scale of the abdomen will need to be changed, and pinnation angle of all muscles associated with breathing will need to be studied in detail for the best mechanical advantage for the shoulder joint. The model will be able to breathe biomechanically! Right now, when the action figure's arm bends, all of the muscles in the chain activate and flex according to laws of biomechanics!Check out Doctor Soupy's old-school action figures that were all built from scratch. It is nearly the 10th anniversery of Armor Up with Tape Creature! Don't foget to see the cool animations. The creatures have awesome attacks. True joints are necessary for the next model's prototype. This is for a computer game counterpart. The Code10 story involves a multi-planet battle raging in the future with between agent bodies, which are operated by "players".

Medical simulation in action figures the only hurdle to creating a physically experienced computer game. It may take several years for the biomimetic, physical model to be a computer generated character. Motion capture and biometric equations for all body types will need to be integrated. The equations for biomimetic flexing muscles will generate new technology for how to model wire frame skeletons, and will create new ways with how to attach inverse kinematics onto skeletons. New formations of IK handles and sequential kinematic chain deformations are all possible with the Creature Convention. Operating an aircraft or surgical intrament by a remote only touches the surface. Controling an actual mimic-body any through a CGI interface any number of miles away presents a challenge for any proffessional gamer.
Photorealistic anatomy must be attained. Animatronic robots,
full length movies and fps computer games depend on it.
The entertainment industry keeps developing new technology.
Hollywood and the big studios
in the silicon valley make money by developing new software and technology.
Ideas, however, come from individuals all over the globe.
Motion capture devices and military target aquisition systems, first pioneered in part, by drSoupy's friend's pops, came from Vermont(See Funkwagon page for more info).
